Sunroom Inlaid Marble Carpet 

 

This sunroom project was ordered by Rhonda Vaughan Interiors of Grand Prairie, Texas. This custom carpet was commissioned for their customer’s private residence in the Fort Worth area. The carpet is inlaid marble.

 

The custom artwork was created by Agape Tile LLC. This stone rug measures 10 x 20 feet and is divided into 8 main sections in order to make this large piece more manageable for shipping and installation. There are two 24 inch center medallion inserts featuring a leaf design.

 

180 square feet of matching diagonally set square marble mosaics were created. All of the stone panels are 4mm in thickness. The stone is laminated onto 4mm thick aluminum sheeting. All sections are polished and pre-grouted.

 

This carpet is comprised of marbles and natural stones: Off White Himalaya, Uba Grey, Forest Green, Persian Pink, Rojo Alicante and Light Emperador.
