Katsushika Hokusai (葛飾 北斎, c. 31 October 1760 – 10 May 1849), known simply as Hokusai, was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period, active as a painter and printmaker.[1] He is best known for the woodblock print series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, which includes the iconic print The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
The artwork is overpainted onto a seamless capiz seashell panel. You may order any artwork that you like that is without copyright. We use artrenewal.org to source the art of masters. The artwork must be 300 dpi, high resolution. Art Renewal charges for their digital images.
When finished, this mural is coated with a high grade polyurethane for durability.
This mural is rated for interior walls. We recommend framing it or setting it into a niche.
