Alma Tadema Swimming Pool Tile Wall Murals

These two swimming pool hand painted tile wall murals were adapted from the art of Alma Tadema. The murals are installed on the rear wall of a Douglasville Georgia mansion, adjacent to the swimming pool and spa. Each mural measures 20 feet in length. The tile size is 6 x 6 inches. It is important to know the tile size so that one can appreciate the detail in the art.

These murals took over a year to create. The art is adapted from eight different paintings by Alma Tadema, the homeowners favorite old world artist. It was very difficult to create the composition. The pencil drawing that was presented for approval was lifesize. Three sections are shown in these photos of the original pencil drawing. There are seventeen people in the murals. The custom artwork is by Agape Tile LLC.

Agape Tile hand painted tile from 1989 to 2001. Sadly, we no longer create murals like this. We wish to continue to share this special project with our future customers as it is one of our old favorites. We hope you enjoy the artwork.
